For women practitioners ready to work with intimacy, sexuality, and relational depth with structure, ethics, and clarity
A Professional Pathway into Embodied Intimacy Work with Men
The Sensara Method is a structured, professional training designed to equip practitioners to work with men in:
• intimacy
• sexuality
• relational development

It integrates:
• somatic awareness
• relational practice
• consent-based frameworks
• structured professional application
Introducing The Sensara Method
Many of the women I have spoken to have identified that most practitioner trainings do not prepare you for this work.

They do not cover:
  • how to work with male sexuality in a grounded, embodied way
  • how to manage projection, desire, or emotional intensity
  • how to integrate touch or sexuality ethically
  • how to maintain clear professional boundaries in intimate contexts
The Gap in Training
Based on over a decade of direct work with male clients, The Sensara Method, developed by Sian Johnson, is a 12-month accredited Level 3 Diploma in Embodied Intimacy Practice, commencing July 2026.

This work draws on extensive experience supporting men with intimacy, sexuality, and relational challenges

THE SENSARA METHOD
What the Sensara Method helps to solve

This work is not for everyone.

This Level 3 accredited Diploma is for you if you already are or want to work with men, and you feel
  • Talking or coaching alone doesn’t fully reach
  • Conversations around intimacy, sexuality, shame, confidence, relationships, or emotional connection repeatedly emerge in your client work
  • You notice an “edge” when working with men around attraction, vulnerability, erotic charge, or relational dynamics and want the skills to navigate that professionally
  • You can feel the limits of purely cognitive approaches and want more embodied, experiential ways of working
  • You find yourself thinking: “There’s something deeper here… but I don’t yet have the framework, tools, or supervision to safely go there.”
  • You want to support men beyond performance, shutdown, loneliness, or surface-level coping patterns
  • You’re looking for a professional pathway grounded in ethics, consent, trauma awareness, supervision, and real-world practice
There is a growing demand that most practitioners are not trained to meet.

Men are actively seeking support with:
• intimacy and relational confidence
• sexuality and sexual dysfunction
• emotional connection
• masculinity and manhood

Many men are longing for deeper connection, intimacy, and fulfilment, but have never been taught how to create them. Instead, many turn toward isolation, pornography, emotional shutdown, the manosphere or performance-based ideas of masculinity that leave them feeling even more disconnected.

For many men, what they need goes beyond:
• talk-based coaching
• mindset work
• or theory alone

Men are calling for embodied, relational, and real-world support.

Many practitioners can feel that, but don’t yet have:
• a clear framework
• the right training
• or the confidence to work in this area safely
