The Beauty of Working With Men:
What becomes possible when sexuality, intimacy and the body become part of the work

A free professional development webinar for women practitioners

Good men in Difficult Times
The Beauty of Working With Men:
What becomes possible when sexuality, intimacy and the body become part of the work

Live Online | 75 Minutes
8 September | 10:00am (UK)

So much of the conversation about working with men so far in this series has focussed on what's wrong. We’ve spoken about risk, safety, power, boundaries, shame, practitioner confidence, relational dynamics, erotic energy, vulnerability and the responsibility of working ethically with men’s sexuality.

And when we talk about working with men's sexuality as women practitioners, the conversation can quickly become very focussed on risk: all the things that could go wrong and everything that needs to be in place to build a safe, sustainable and successful practice.

These conversations matter. And they can obscure something equally important:

The extraordinary beauty of this work.

For a decade, I have worked with men around some of the most intimate and vulnerable parts of their lives, from talking and coaching through embodied practice, intimate touch and Sexual Partner Surrogacy.

And I have witnessed what can happen when a man has somewhere to explore sexuality and intimacy without having to already know what he's doing.

When he can be awkward.

When his body doesn't have to perform.

When he can discover what he wants, ask for it, hear a no, receive pleasure, experience touch, make mistakes and try something different.

When sexuality becomes somewhere to learn rather than somewhere to succeed or fail.

This is where embodied intimacy work can become profoundly transformative.

In this 75-minute webinar, we'll explore:

  • why working with men around sex and intimacy can be such deeply rewarding work;
  • what becomes possible when we bring the body, pleasure and lived experience into the work;
  • the many ways we can work with intimacy and embodiment, with or without touch; and
  • what a decade of working this intimately with men has taught me about vulnerability, connection, sexuality and change
We'll also explore the continuum from talk-based and relational practice through to embodied practice, intimate touch and Sexual Partner Surrogacy.

Curious about Sexual Partner Surrogacy? Read my blog.

You don't need to want to touch clients or become a Sexual Partner Surrogate to attend. This is an exploration of a much bigger question:

What becomes possible when sexuality, intimacy and the body are allowed to become part of the work?

Who is this for?

Women who already work with men, or are curious about doing so, including coaches, therapists, bodyworkers, somatic practitioners, tantra practitioners, sex workers and other practitioners working around relationships, sexuality, embodiment and personal change.

If men's sexuality is already appearing in your work, or you're curious about what might become possible if it did, this webinar is for you.

Who this is for

This webinar is designed for female practitioners already working with people in a professional capacity, such as:
  • Coaches, therapists, counsellors
  • Bodyworkers, somatic practitioners
  • Sexological bodyworkers or those in adjacent fields
  • Practitioners working in men’s work, relationships, or personal development

You may be:
  • wanting to deepen your existing work

The nature of this work

This field includes working with:
  • embodiment
  • relational dynamics
  • intimacy and sexuality
Depending on the level of practice, this may include:
  • guided somatic touch
  • working directly with arousal and sexual energy
  • structured, professional intimacy experiences within clear ethical frameworks
This will be spoken about directly and professionally during the webinar. You are invited to engage with this material as a practitioner, rather than a participant in personal exploration.

About the training

This webinar introduces The Sensara Method™ a 12-month professional training beginning September 2026.

The training includes:
  • one structured entry point
  • three certification pathways aligned to different levels of practice
  • a Level 3 Diploma accreditation
  • supervision, mentoring, and professional support
  • guidance on integrating this work into a functioning, ethical practice
  • structured opportunities to apply the work in practice (within appropriate ethical boundaries)
This is designed to support practitioners to work safely, responsibly, and sustainably with real clients.

Important
This is not an introductory personal development space. It is a professional conversation about a specific and often challenging area of practice.

You do not need to be certain this is for you. You do need to be willing to engage with the reality of the work, including its ethical, relational, and practical demands.

Final note
This work asks more of you than most modalities.
It also offers a level of depth and impact that many practitioners, and clients, are actively seeking.

This webinar will give you a clear view of what this work actually requires, and whether you are willing, and ready, to meet it.
