At this transformative weekend you will be guided by Sian Johnson, a Certified Wheel of Consent Trainer and pleasure catalyst.

Who is this for?

We welcome practitioners, non-practitioners… singles, couples, thruples, binary people, non binary people, Trans and gender non-conforming people and all sexualities… White, Black and Brown people of all ages and communities… All richnesses, flavours and tastes are welcome… those who choose labels and those who don’t… all open-hearted people over 18 are welcome in this space of navigating the nuances of boundaries, limits and consent.

How much is it?

We are offering this training on a sliding scale rate. Please chose the option appropriate to your means:

“On a good wage” rate £225
“On a regular wage” rate £200
“Low or no income” rate £175

Do you do payment plans?

Where is this happening? How do I get here?

The workshops take place in a beautiful, warm community hall with views of the mountains of Eryri (Snowdonia).

By car – navigate to LL57 4LQ. There is a small carpark immediately opposite the hall and lots of parking space along the same road.

By train – the nearest station is Bangor (Gwynedd). It’s about 5.5miles away so you might need to get a taxi.

By bus – the nearest bus stop in Mynydd Llandegai is just around the corner from the hall. Look at timetables at Traveline Cymru: https://www.traveline.cymru/

Is the venue accessible? How do I get here?

This venue is all on a ground floor level with a wide entrance into the main space and a disabled toilet. There is disabled parking for two vehicles immediately outside the entrance.

What are the timings?

On both Saturday and Sunday, the doors will be open from 9:30am. Doors close at 10:00am (latecomers not admitted). The course will run from 10am to 6pm on both days with a decent break for lunch and short tea breaks.

What do I need to bring?

Whatever you’d like to eat for lunch.

Wear warm, comfortable clothes that you can move in. Though the hall is warm, layers are good, as it will be February.

A water bottle or flask with a sealable lid for drinks.

A cushion or pillow and blanket or large towel.

A journal or notebook and pen if this is helpful for your learning style.

An object, picture or talisman that represents empowerment for you or your community.

Is there anywhere nearby for lunch?

There isn’t, Mynydd Llandegai is a rural village on the side of a mountain!

Please bring lunches with you. There is a kitchenette in the hall where hot drinks, tea, coffee and milk are provided.

Where can I stay?

If you are travelling to the area, you will need to prebook your own accommodation. There are options in the surrounding area via AirBNB or Booking.com.

There are also bunkhouses (the cheapest option) around 10mins drive away. Book those direct here and here.

Can you tell me more about Sian Johnson?

Sian Johnson discovered The Wheel of Consent in 2018, and it revolutionised her approach to her work as a masseuse and sex coach. More importantly, it profoundly impacted her personal relationships, creating more understanding and grace.

Sian passionately believes in the potential of The Wheel of Consent to not only enhance individual relationships but also to create a positive ripple effect in the wider world.

She brings a down-to-earth, participant-led approach to her teachings, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all attendees. As a white, native English-speaking woman who identifies as neurodiverse and queer, Sian is committed to working through her own blind spots and actively welcomes participants who are often underrepresented in workshop spaces.
